The Christian Brothers Foundation is Hiring a Director of Development Near New Rochelle, NY

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Development Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing fundraising efforts, donor relations, and strategic planning to support our organization's mission and growth.

Duties:

- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Cultivate relationships with donors and manage stewardship activities to ensure ongoing engagement
- Coordinate fundraising events and campaigns to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling communication materials for fundraising purposes
- Manage donor database and ensure accurate record-keeping of contributions
- Provide leadership in grant writing and reporting activities
- Oversee volunteer management initiatives to support fundraising efforts

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in development, fundraising, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Wills trusts estate law and nonprofit fundraising principles
- Experience with volunteer management and relationship management
- Proficiency in Raiser's Edge database
- Ability to plan and execute successful events
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on public relations

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
