Job Specifications—Nursing Supervisor- Med/Surg- ICU
Education and Training: Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing. Master’s degree preferred for professional nursing leadership role.
Certification: Class C Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30 days of employment and renewed biannually. ACLS within 90 days of employment.
Licensure: Current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of Missouri.
Experience: Three to five years Nursing experience in a hospital or comparable setting required. Prior managerial or supervisory experience required.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Chief Clinical Administrator
Job Summary: A nurse supervisor's duties include scheduling hours and assigning nurses to particular patients. They must also evaluate their team to ensure they are giving the best care possible to their patients. Supervisors may be involved in hiring nursing staff
