Micro Tech is Hiring a Manufacturing Manager Near Needham, MA
Production Manager needed for growing Manufacturing company in the South Shore area of Boston.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree. Technical background preferred. MS or MBA a plus.
- 10-15 years of manufacturing experience in medical devices manufacturing. 7 years in a manufacturing management position with responsibilities for daily operations of a facility.
- Responsibility for direct labor departments, with experience in all aspects of hourly employee management and leadership.
- Proficient knowledge and application of ISO 13485 system requirements.
- Manage the day to day shop floor activities to meet the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- As a service provider to internal and external customers, support the day to day business requirements to assist in delivering best in class quality and on-time delivery.
- Manage two shift manufacturing operation including setting direction for all hourly employees, Supervisors and Floor Leads.
- Work within the established company-wide quality documentation system, including key aspects such as change control, calibration, validation and training.
- Develop and maintain metrics to drive continuous improvement and meet customer expectations.
- Finance – work with the Finance team to develop and manage budgets, labor, OT and COGS. Manage monthly budgets, drive cost reduction and deliver EBITDA objectives for the business.
- Identify, qualify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and / or increase capacities for the business.
