SOCCER SHOTS NASHVILLE

Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.
Soccer Shots Nashville:
Soccer Shots Nashville stretches from Wilson, Sumner, Robertson, and Rutherford Counties to Williamson and Southern Davidson Counties. Offices are located in Nashville, TN. Soccer Shots Nashville is supported by Soccer Shots DC/MD/VA headquartered in Laurel, MD including but not limited to human resources, operations, payroll, and professional development. Soccer Shots Nashville offers programs at over 100 locations, serves over 2,500 participants, and employs approximately 20 part-time coaches and 8 Full time staff.

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To support all regional operations duties related to Soccer Shots. The Recruiting Coordinator will be asked to assist in the following functions:
Recruitment
· Manage and lead recruiting goals for part-time coaches and interns
· Lead interview, screening and on-boarding process for new hires
· Network with candidate resources (colleges, online networks, community events)
· Recruit, hire and retain coach candidates per year for growing needs of program
· Establish strategic partnerships with area colleges and universities
· Attend events/recruiting fairs
· Accurately update recruitment scorecard & hit key performance indicators
· Updating & Maintenance of (ATS) Application Tracking System
· Generate Brand Awareness and promote job opportunities across the company
Coaching 
· Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children’s lives.
· Safety-conscious, whose #1 priority is the safety of children under their care.
· Caring, engaging with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
· Organized, who plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group.
· Responsible, who are committed to doing what is expected of them as the coach and "face" of Soccer Shots.
· Energetic, bringing Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child to smile and participate
· Coaching 15 sessions per week per season
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s Degree Required
· Preferred 3 years of experience in Recruiting/Hiring and HR
· Experience in full cycle recruitment, sourcing, screening, talent pool, ATS, and on-boarding
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Proficient in Google Docs and MS Office
· Warm, motivated and approachable personality
· Ability to lift 25 lbs

Salary: $34,000 to $40,000 per year based on experience
WORKING HOURS/LOCATION/SCHEDULE:
The job description above is a full-time, non-exempt (overtime-eligible) position requiring 40 hours of work per week. Your weekly agenda and schedule will be assigned by your supervisor. Many Soccer Shots programs run weeknights & weekends, and availability during those times is required.
You will be expected to work out of the central office located in Nashville, TN during weekdays, as well as travel to partner sites in your territory.
SOCCER SHOTS OBJECTIVES:
  1. For Soccer Shots to be the best run, most popular, and most successful program offered in Nashville
  2. For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence. An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each season
  3. To be a Top 10% franchise in participant registration and revenue (in category) and per capita rating and to meet and exceed seasonal and annual enrollment and revenue goals
COMPANY EXPECTATIONS:
  1.  Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors, staff), and always responds to supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours
  2. Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time
  3. Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season
  4. Provide excellent customer service by communicating through newsletters to parents, and phone calls/visits with center directors
  5. Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity

PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS AND REVIEWS:
  • The performance will be reviewed after the first 60 days of employment
  • Objectives of the position and company expectations will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with the supervisor
  • Soccer Shots will perform an annual review in December of each calendar year
