ProLink is Hiring a Cardiac Sonographer Near Naperville, IL
Must haves:
- CCO or ARDMS within 12 months
- BLS via AHA
- New Grads Accepted
Shift:
- Day shift: FT - 40hrs/wk
- Staggered start times (7am-9am)
- Working 4 - 10 hr. shifts. Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, perform echocardiographic procedures including 2D echocardiograms, 2D Doppler echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms.
- Assist physicians in conducting transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Obtain pertinent patient data for interpretation by a board-certified cardiologist.
- Explain the purpose and duration of testing to patients to alleviate concerns and provide excellent customer service.
- Obtain ultrasonic images from patients with complex health issues.
- Precept students from the Echocardiography School.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Echocardiography program.
- Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in echocardiography preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in obtaining and interpreting echocardiographic images, strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
