Job Summary : The Guest Service Representative is responsible for creating a delightful first impression for patients, guests, staff and doctors.

Central in this role is providing support to front desk volunteers. Works collaboratively with departments and employees to oversee operational systems to greet, check-in all guests, patients and employees.

Follows established guidelines to receive and answer patient questions, comments or complaints. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience : High School Diploma or GED required. Some college coursework preferred.

Knowledge and Skills : Knowledge of basic computer software and phone systems. Basic typing skills. Bilingual highly preferred.

• Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others;

Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace;

see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
