ResponsibilitiesJob Summary / PurposePerform a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Provide direct care to patients of all ages.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Complies with safety and emergency procedures.
- Complies with Hospital/Department/Unit policies.
- Documents activities consistent with Hospital/Department/Unit Guidelines.
- Performs critical/frequent procedures or services.
- Provides care/services based on identified needs.
- Uses required equipment for providing care/services.
- Consults with Hospital/department resources.
- Demonstrates professional responsibility as per job classification.
- Demonstrates Core Values Guest Relations/Guest Service Standards.
- Demonstrates Core Values Based on Behavioral Standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Licensure And CertificationsMLT (ASCP), or equivalent certification.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And TrainingAdequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies.
Pay Range$25.48 - $25.48 /hour
