Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of the HR department.
Duties:
- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions and assist in training new hires
- Manage HRIS systems and maintain accurate employee records
- Support payroll processing activities and ensure accuracy of timekeeping records
- Assist with benefits administration and address employee inquiries regarding benefits
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially
- Contribute to talent management initiatives and assist in performance management processes
- Support strategic planning efforts related to human resources
- Stay updated on employment labor laws and ensure compliance within the organization
Skills:
- Proficiency in HR software such as Workday or similar systems
- Strong understanding of human resources principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills for conducting interviews and interacting with employees
- Knowledge of social media management for recruitment purposes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Familiarity with payroll processes and basic understanding of compensation structures
