KRM TRANSPORTATION is Hiring a Delivery Driver Near Mobile, AL
KRM TRANSPORTATION are looking for individuals to join our team as an Independent Contracted Driver/Helper delivering and installing appliances.
We are not just looking for a drivers and helpers, we are looking for self-motivated professionals who takes pride in their work and serving customers.
Provide the highest quality of service throughout the pick-up and delivery process.
The qualified candidate for this position will assist with Driving/Helper with deliveries to residential and business customers with a focus on timeliness and customer service. The Delivery team will off-load materials to each stop, deliver and place products to the customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service as you safely load, transport, and deliver to customer homes.
- Greet customer upon arriving at the specific location.
- Operate a 26ft box truck safely to load and upload customers belongings
- Must be able to pass a Background Check, and Motor Vehicle Check.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance and communicate professionally.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 1 year experience of operating a 26' box truck
- Must be insurable by our insurance company.
- Must be able to pass a Background Check, and Motor Vehicle Check.
- Must have and be able to use mobile device.
- Must be able to understand and operate Global Positioning System (GPS).
- Knowledge of the tri-county area.
- Warehouse, and pallet jack experience.
- Good commination skills and professional manner dealing with customers and fellow associate.
- Run routes effectively, meeting or exceeding designated route time.
- Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules, comply with all DOT regulations, and perform pre-trip inspections.
- Responsible for upkeep/cleanliness of truck at the end of shift.
- Must be at least able to lift 50 lbs. or more
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $140.00 per day

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
