STC Southern Tele-Communications is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Mobile, AL
The ideal candidate will be working in the Accounting Department directly alongside the Controller. They will work in QuickBooks on a consistent basis and help with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, & Invoicing. They will learn from the Controller and take on additional responsibilities as they learn. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the business.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all input items
- Ability to navigate and work in QuickBooks consistently
- Assist the Controller with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Assist in Daily Invoicing
- Assist in closing the books on a monthly basis
- Maintain and create bank deposits daily
- Adaptive learner that could help in multiple areas of the business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, Finance or General Business Degree
- 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting/finance
