We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Business Development Specialist at Bionic Prosthetics and Orthotics. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between our company, patients, and healthcare professionals, advocating for the needs of our patients while also contributing to business growth and development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Patient Advocacy
o Act as a dedicated advocate for patients receiving prosthetic and orthotic services, ensuring their needs, preferences, and concerns are addressed throughout their healthcare journey.
o Educate patients about their available services, treatment options, and resources to empower them in decision-making processes.
o Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive personalized and high-quality care that meets their individual needs.
Business Developmento
o Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the prosthetics and orthotics market, including potential partnerships, service offerings, and market segments.
o Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives to increase market share, revenue, and brand awareness.
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for differentiation.
o Cultivate and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals, referral sources, and community organizations, to promote our company’s services and capabilities.
Community Engagement
o Represent our company in community outreach activities, events, and networking opportunities to raise awareness of our services and build relationships with potential clients.
o Advocate for accessible and inclusive healthcare services for individuals with prosthetic and orthotic needs, collaborating with community organizations and advocacy groups to address gaps in care and promote patient-centered approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in business development, healthcare administration, or patient advocacy roles.
- Strong understanding of prosthetics and orthotics industry trends, patient-centered care principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to promoting accessible and inclusive healthcare services for individuals with prosthetic and/or orthotic needs.
