Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure they meet project specifications. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for concrete placement by cleaning, leveling, and compacting
- Set forms and ensure they are properly aligned and secured
- Pour concrete into forms and use various tools to spread, level, and smooth the surface
- Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, edging, and brooming to achieve desired texture and appearance
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations on the job site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to concrete work
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, power trowel) is a plus
