Location: Minneapolis - onsite Salary: 80-85K
Duration: Direct HireOur Client is looking for an Accountant to join their team. This position will be managing inventory and work closely with operations on internal and inventory controls.
Responsibilities
- Help warehouse manager with inventory management for 6 locations and develop a solid and timely cycle count process.
- Preparing cost reports, supervising inventory levels, cost comparisons, product costing analysis, tracking variances and creating journal entries
- Prepare and analyze month-end schedules and key ad-hoc reports.
- Assist in preparation and analysis of corporate budgets, including sales and gross profit budgets by region.
- Manage Intercompany activities, including posting of transactions and reconciling by entity to the general ledger.
- Set-up, consolidate, report, and maintain the annual budgeting process.
- Minimum 3–5 years as an Accountant
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or related field
- Manufacturing, distribution or public accounting background preferred.
- Must possess advanced Excel skills such as Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and H-Lookups and provide good formatting of all distributed reports.
