Position Summary:

Bio-Techne is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer who will be responsible for configuration, development, testing, and deployment of functionality across Salesforce environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build applications using Apex and Lightning

• Work with team in an agile development methodology

• Management of DevOps release management cycle, code repository, and impact analysis

• Participate in technical discussions, influencing best practices about when to use configuration vs coding

• Configuration within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Field Service Lightning

• Build integrations with the Salesforce platform and improve performance or existing integrations, including development in Force.com, Lightning, Apex, Web Services, and APIs.

• Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring

• Mentor peers via code review and ad hoc assistance

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field.

• 5 years of Salesforce development experience using Apex, Visualforce, SOQL and SOSL, Lightning component frameworks, triggers, batch apex, and Salesforce APIs.

• Current certification as Salesforce Developer or equivalent experience

• Proven experience in Software Development Life Cycle

• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK APIs, third-party integration tools and ETL with Salesforce

• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Field Service Lightning, and Lightning Web Components
