Description
We are offering a role for a Data Engineer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
Set up and maintain Azure Data Lakes
Develop and execute complex queries on Azure SQL
Code in PySpark for data processing and analysis
Utilize Azure Databricks for big data analytics
Maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
Leverage Snowflake cloud data platform for data storage and analytics
Use Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting
Familiarize with delta lakes and synapse skills as added advantages.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Data Engineer for a minimum of five years
Demonstrable skills in using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks
Practical experience with EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse)
Proficiency in coding with PySpark
Experience in working with Snowflake data warehousing platform
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Familiarity with data privacy and protection regulations.
