The role of the Production Manager (PM) is to manage all production work, and to manage and develop staff, ensuring that all orders meet quality standards and are completed on time. The PM will plan, organize, implement, and improve efficiencies to limit/control waste. This position will also work with Maintenance to schedule preventative machine work, building work, and to address any machine problems. Attention to employee and product safety is a priority. The PM must always demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise staff to conduct regular inventory of all materials, submit counts to Accounting
· Oversee Maintenance department
· Monitor staff and supply expenses to stay within monthly budget
· Ensure HACCP, OSHA and GMP standards are adhered to, along with other regulatory requirements

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This is a manufacturing and warehouse environment with a strong smell of coffee. While the facilities are climate controlled, they can be cold in winter and hot in summer. There are a variety of machines with many moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate.

· Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
· Reach upward, outward, and downward frequently
· Push/pull frequently
· Use one or two hands and fingers to grasp, move, or assemble objects

· See differences between colors, shades, and brightness
· Speak clearly so listeners can understand; Understand the speech of others
· Ability to regularly lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
