Description
**Job Title:** Lead Painter
**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Location:** Midway, UT
**Salary Range:** $24 to $30 per hour
**Job Overview:**
Midway Painting Company needs a lead painter who can handle and lead high-quality paint jobs in Utah. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom residential, new construction, repaints, and commercial painting projects. They also need to be able to supervise a team of painters to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with quality.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead a team of painters in completing various painting projects
- Ensure all painting work is done with precision and attention to detail
- Coordinate with clients to understand their painting needs and preferences
- Estimate project costs and materials needed for each job
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Train and mentor junior painters
- Keep up to date with new painting techniques and products
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a lead painter in residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
