HUGO BOSS is a world market leader in the premium fashion and luxury segment of the apparel market. The Savannah Distribution Center currently operates as a Foreign Trade Zone and receives / ships approximately 8 M units to 91 Retail stores and over 300 Wholesale points of sale.

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining / improving established service levels of all outbound shipments for Wholesale, Retail, and Ecom channels.

S / he must also maintain inventory integrity through use of cycle counts and aggressive audit program of inbound and outbound shipments.

In this role, you will manage processes and trainings associated with STASM / STASQ and stock consolidations. The Inventory Control Supervisor must demonstrate ability to be a team player .

This role requires ability to adjust storage capacity to meet daily, monthly and yearly inventory requirements.

What you can expect :

Essential Functions :

  • Maintain Inventory integrity and storage capacities
  • Provide weekly / monthly / annual inventory reports as scheduled or as requested to DC Leadership and to Finance business partners
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, providing guidance, direction, skill and performance accountability in fair and consistent manner while always looking for ways to increase efficiencies.
  • Utilize and maintain employee incentive goals
  • Employee observations and feedback
  • Maintain team and individual productivity tracking
  • Monitor and address accuracy / productivity / attendance issues using progressive discipline program
  • Oversee thorough training of new hires and temporary staffing, cross training as needed; Initiate and complete cross training in key positions to cover volume spikes, absenteeism and vacations.
  • Provide daily / weekly / monthly KPI summaries to Control Center Director and Distribution
  • Develop and implement strategic projects to improve the facility’s productivity, capacity, and throughput.
  • Authorize bi-weekly employee payroll
  • Maintain safe and secure work environment at all times
  • Prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Communicate effectively through all levels of the organization; Work effectively within a team.
  • Team Development Complete all performance appraisals, payroll & time management, training, coaching.
  • Other tasks as required to meet team goals.

Your profile :

  • Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Management, or Logistics is preferred
  • 3-5 years leadership experience in Logistics / Distribution. Apparel / Retail background preferred
  • Schedule flexibility; 45 - 50 hours per week with the expectation that overtime may be required.
  • Availability and willingness to work any shift, as needed
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of success
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; Great team-building skills and impeccable integrity
  • Flexible; Able to prioritize multiple initiatives / tasks with a strict focus on deadlines; strong sense of urgency
  • Strong technical and analytical experience with SAP EWM, Stasm / Stasq, MS Access, MS Excel
