Providence Treatment is Hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Near Media, PA
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a consultant to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients at Providence Treatment. This position is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with mental health and emotional disorders and prescribing medication when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans with our clinical team
- Prescribe medication and monitor their effectiveness
- Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of care
- Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing
- Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and active DEA cert
- 5 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
