CCRES, Educational & Behavioral Health Services is Hiring a Mental health specialist Near Media, PA

SUMMARY :

  • Morning MHS in-home needs in Media, PA and Havertown, PA
  • The Mental Health Specialist (MHS) is an independent contract position working early morning hours during the school week
  • Great opportunity for recent retirees, or those looking for supplemental income!

RATE :

Pay for independent contract work is $60.00 / hr with PA Licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) OR 50.50 / hr with no license

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Monday - Friday, 1 hour / day during the school week to provide services in the home setting before school hours to help an individual transition from home to school day
  • 1 hour each day typically falls between 6am - 8am time frame
  • Work with school aged students with emotional or behavioral needs
  • Transportation from the client's home to school may be required
  • No services are provided if there is no school
  • Transfer coping skills and interventions to parent / caregiver

Requirements

EDUCATION / EXEPRIENCE :

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university in a mental health / human service study such as Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Education, etc.
  • Additional 6 months work experience providing clinical therapy in an individual, family, or group format - preferred.
  • Documented training and experience in positive behavior supports, team coordination, agency collaboration, applied and cognitive behavioral counseling

CREDENTIALS :

Clearances current within 12 months)

  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI Use code 1KG6XN
  • TB Screening (current within 3 months)
  • Education Documentation - diploma OR official transcripts from graduate program
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Active license through the PA Board of Medicine in one of the following areas : LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC (if applicable)

The Mental Health Specialist / MHS is an independent contract (1099) position. No benefits are associated with this role.
