- Deleafing - Using designated equipment, ensure that the correct amount of leaves is carefully removed without causing damage to plant
- Examining plants and surroundings, keeping area clean and free of weeds and bottom suckers
- Loading empty boxes and unload full boxes onto pallets and reload cart with empty boxes/packing trays
- Maintaining a clean and organized greenhouse
- Ensuring that all equipment (picking carts, etc.) are kept clean and report any problems to crew leader
- Attending safety meetings and training sessions as directed
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs
- Ability to lift 35lbs regularly
- Ability to work in wet or humid conditions
- Attention to detail
- Potential exposure to bumblebees including possible (but rare) stings. Must be comfortable working around bees and not be allergic to bee stings.
