- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.
- Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Drive participation in the CHIP Program (CURRIES Hazard Identification Program), PEER Program, and GEMBA communication boards in all departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to resolve production issues and drive process improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee training and development, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
- Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
- Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing and accomplishing goals through your team.
- Previous experience in the door, hardware, architectural, building products or a related industry is highly desired.
- Demonstrated track record of implementing LEAN manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under tight time deadlines.
