Join Our Team as a Community Relations Specialist!
Role Overview :
As a Community Relations Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing grant funding requests, supporting various grant programs, and serving as a resource for nonprofit organizations.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our community initiatives align with our values and goals. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and make a real difference in people's lives
Key Responsibilities :
- Complete grant funding requests and respond to inquiries from nonprofit organizations
- Support the execution of grant programs, including Associate Nominated Grants and Opportunistic grants
- Review and vet grant applications to ensure eligibility under Foundation Guidelines
- Serve as a resource for database inquiries and troubleshoot external issues
- Assist in tracking and monitoring grant budgets to ensure effective use of funds
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our community relations efforts
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in database management and reporting
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the nonprofit sector (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working autonomously
