Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Understand product test requirements and procedures for energy storage systems.
-Utilize inspection and measurement equipment to qualify product quality by following established operating instructions.
-Conduct quality inspections at all production stages: incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods.
-Maintain accurate and complete inspection records, ensuring data integrity.
-Generate test reports, verifying that report data accurately reflects testing results.
-Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications: Preferred: Associate degree in a technical field (electrical, mechanical, electronics, etc.) or equivalent vocational training.
Acceptable: High school diploma with demonstrable technical aptitude and relevant coursework.
Ideal: Some experience in a technical or manufacturing setting, especially with electrical or mechanical systems.
Advantageous: Basic electrical safety certifications or other relevant industry-recognized credentials.
Essential: Ability to use hand tools, read technical drawings, and understand basic electrical/mechanical concepts.
Highly Desirable: Familiarity with testing equipment, common measurement tools (multimeters, calipers, etc.), and troubleshooting procedures.
Must-have: Proficiency with standard computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets)
Beneficial: Previous experience with data collection and organization.
Other Requirements
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
-Ability to work independently following instructions as well as collaborate within a team.
-Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements:-The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods.
-Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting to 50 pounds.
-Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip).
-Visual acuity including, but not limited to:
-NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and
minute accuracy is demanded.
-FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in
terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.
-DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial
relationships to see objects where and as they actually are.
-COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
-FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left
while eyes are fixed on a given point.
