Gotham Per-diem is Hiring an Operating Room Charge Nurse Near Manhasset, NY
Our client, a leading outpatient surgical center in New York, is seeking a skilled Operating Room Charge Nurse to join their team. Strong orthopedics experience is preferred for this role.
**This is a full time in-person role (M-F days)**
Operating Room Charge Nurse Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the operating room
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Provide leadership and support to the OR nursing staff
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare team members
Operating Room Charge Nurse Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license in the state of New York
- Minimum of (1) year of experience as an OR Charge Nurse
- Minimum of (2) years of experience as an OR RN
- Strong orthopedics experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
