1st shift 6 : 30am - 3pm Mon - Fri (Some OT as needed)
What’s a typical day as a Shipping & Receiving professional? You’ll be :
- Reviewing invoice / packing list, pulling and picking required product, and ensuring product and accessory items are correct and match the invoice / packing list.
- Utilizing UPS / FedEx / DHL software for shipments.
- Shipping and confirming shipments using Clipper Ship and Oracle software.
- Filing all end of day shipping documents.
- Receiving all packages coming into the facility.
- Visually inspecting all packages as they come into the facility, rejecting those that are damaged or unacceptable.
- Documenting receipts into excel or Oracle or Dynamics ERP system.
- Coordinating with Procurement on purchase order discrepancies.
- Assisting with and performing tasks as may be assigned by supervisor.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a minimum of 6-12 months shipping, receiving, and inventory control knowledge.
- Have certification on "Dangerous Good" (preferred but not required).
- Can perform quality control checks for all products shipped, received, and packaged.
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office and basic shipping software.
- Have efficient data entry skills.
- Are well organized and have high attention to detail.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Can work with limited supervision.
- Are a highly motivated self-starter.
- Can interact well with others, both internal and external departments.
- Can adjust daily tasks to meet department demand.
