We are looking for a full-time or part-time Guest Service Representative or Front Desk at Studio 6 Miamisburg Dayton.
Job Description:-
-Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotels or motels.
- Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.
- Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.
- Make and confirm reservations.
- Issue room keys.
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.
- Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
-Post charges, such as those for rooms, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgers manually or by using computers.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make the change for guests.
- Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.
- Review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process.
- Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards.
- Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make shopping, dining, or entertainment recommendations.
- Prepare for setting up coffee and tea supplies.
- Clean and maintain lobby and common areas, such as restocking supplies.
- Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages.
- Required to lift 30lbs Skills.
- Able to confirm customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay.
- Demonstrated ability to review accounts and charges with guests for the period of the check-out procedure.
- Extremely capable of answering inquiries related to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, leisure, and travel directions.
- Knowledge of advising housekeeping staff when rooms are ready for cleaning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Other duties may be assigned-Dedicated and careful.
- high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English- Computer: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience.
- 6 months to 1 years experience in the Hotel industry.
