Lynchburg Daily Bread Kitchen Assistant
- Reports to : Kitchen Manager
- Schedule : 7 am-1 pm Tues / Weds - opportunity for more days based on performance.
Job Duties :
- Complete various food preparation and clean-up tasks including :
- Prepare pans of meat for cooking
- Make a salad, chop produce / fruit
- Monitor the time and temperature of cooking food
- Open cans to prepare large portions of veggies, etc.
- Wash dishes
- Assist in the supervision of community service workers
- Once lunch is completed, assist in clean-up tasks of wiping down all surfaces, mopping, packing up recycling, etc.
