Position Overview:

The HR Assistant will provide support to recruit, hire and retain strong employees who will positively impact our company, and coordinate the training they need to succeed in their roles.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruiting tasks such as reviewing resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews, hiring, and following up with candidates
• Schedule and coordinate onboarding assignments and training sessions
• Assist the HR manager in communicating to employees
• Proficiency in administrative duties such as data entry, filing and record keeping

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in an administrative role
• Understanding of labor laws
• Enthusiasm for working within a team environment
• Tact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns
• Proficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with ADP WFN is a plus

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years working experience in similar field (manufacturing industry preferred) and/or an equivalent combination of both experience and education.

Food Safety & Quality Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Adheres to all Food Safety/Quality SOP’s
• Accurately completes required Food Safety & Quality Records
• Communicates any known or suspected Food Safety/ Quality issues to the Q.A. Manager and Department Manager
• Responsible for reporting any food safety concerns or tampering with product
• Attends all Food Safety/Quality training sessions
