VIVID IMPACT is Hiring a HR & Payroll Specialist Near Louisville, KY
Role PurposeProvide operational support to transform the human resource processes into a best-in-class experience for Vivid Impact's customers and working team members. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: payroll, benefits administration, HR compliance, employee file management, and team member onboarding.
Shift Details
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- This is an onsite position, with remote work permitted on specific occasions, contingent upon pre-approval by leadership and is not a regular occurrence.
- Serve as lead Payroll & HRIS Administrator.
- Onboarding new hires: Administer background checks & drug screening, as well as Payroll, HRIS and benefit setup, I9, handbook review, etc.
- Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
- Serve as lead payroll administrator; provide necessary post-payroll reporting to accounting team, process garnishments, support team members with deductions, leave accruals, direct deposit and other payroll concerns.
- Assist in FMLA and ADA compliance.
- Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution and change reporting.
- Serve as HR Compliance Lead: federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations, files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Assist Accounting Team and HR Team with annual 401K reporting and audit.
- File and monitor worker compensation claims and maintain the OSHA300 logs.
- Assist HR Area Leader with assessing, analyzing, and improving the HR workflow.
- Provide support for company events 8 times per year.
- Support additional HR processes as needed.
- Experience with UKG Ready or similar payroll processing platforms.
- Experience in HR administration in a manufacturing or logistics industry preferred.
- Ability to maintain a "yes, I can help you with that" positive service attitude.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines for projects of various size and scope.
- Flexibility to adjust to daily needs.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
- Hands on approach to managing challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Organizational Development preferred, or comparable experience required.
