Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented graphic designer to join our team! In this role you will get to create compelling visuals for a number of major transportation projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Create visuals to support public involvement and communications for diverse transportation projects
  • Develop content for monthly social media calendars including graphics and motion graphics
  • Create meeting materials including project display boards, presentations, handouts, signage and more
  • Develop a variety of collateral materials including handouts, fliers, postcards, website graphics, charts, tables and more, adhering to brand standards
  • Create unique logos and brand standards
  • Assist in proposal development including layout and supporting graphics
  • Meet deadlines while working in a collaborative environment
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • 4-year degree or associates degree in design, visual communications or related field or completion from an accredited design/graphics course
  • 2 years of related design experience
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Demonstrated creativity and professionalism and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into compelling visuals
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and print and digital standards
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality work
  • Exemplary professional attitude and demonstrated ability to exercise excellent customer service and support
  • Collaborative attitude is a plus as you work closely with the public involvement team
  • Experience working in public sector communications and graphics is highly desirable
  • Experience with transportation and/or other large infrastructure projects desirable
