Shift will be dependent on current projects available. Approximately 5 hours per week as needed, although no weekly guarantee of hours.
Job Summary
The Lewis Honors College and Center for Personal Development seeks to fill multiple student employment positions for the Fall 2024 semester. Hours per week may average 5 hours per week, with additional hours as needed. The location is hybrid in that both in-person and remote work will be completed. Attention to detail and experience with graphic design and creation of promotional materials is required. Students from any major will be considered and applicants do not have to be an Honors student, although it is a plus.
Duties will include:
  • Develop and execute semester-long marketing strategy, plan, and timeline to promote Honors College and CPD services and events during Fall 2024
  • Meet regularly with the CPD Director, Associate Director, and/or Communications Director to finalize designs and weekly plans
  • Create marketing materials for events which typically occur on a weekly basis
  • Utilize and adhere to UK and CPD brand standards
  • Design flyers and digital signage, plus create content for social media and weekly newsletter
  • Assist with social media posts and stories
  • Assist with distributing and removing flyers within the Lewis Honors College and Community of Scholars LLP
  • Assist with CPD event logistics as needed (i.e. event set-up, tear-down, general support during event)
  • Update the Honors website with content, news, and event details as needed
