Job Summary:
Newton Chevrolet of Russellville is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Detailer to join our team. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and detailing both the interiors and exteriors of vehicles in our dealership. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry located in Russellville, Kentucky.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $12 to $15 per hour and is paid weekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development within our dealership.
Responsibilities:
• Clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles using appropriate tools and products
• Vacuum carpets and upholstery, clean windows and mirrors, and polish surfaces
• Wash and dry vehicles using safe and efficient methods
• Apply waxes, polishes, and other protectants to vehicles
• Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of detailing tools and equipment
• Inform management of any damages or defects on vehicles
• Keep work area and all vehicles in the lot clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as an Automotive Detailer or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of different detailing products, tools, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Physically able to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a background screening and drug test
