Porky's Public House is Hiring a Bartender Near Longview, WA

Porky's Public House & Eatery has been a industry leader in excellent customer service for three decades strong. We are proud of our eclectic and vast selection of craft beer, our creative cocktails and delicious meals.

We are looking for an charismatic bartender/mixologist to provide an excellent guest experience. Our bartenders are able to create cocktails using classic tools and techniques, get creative with fresh ingredients, as well as share enthusiasm for great beer, while exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Craft beer knowledge is a must for this position. This is a rare opportunity to join our highly respected team as a bartender.

We have a average of 2-5 shifts per week available. Shifts are usually 10a-6p or 3-11pm

Our bartenders are usually our shift leads. Top pay will be offered upon completion of online training.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare thoughtfully crafted beverages for our bar and restaurant guests.
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks while providing them exceptional experience.
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences, make recommendations and introduce them to new items.
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
  • Plan and present bar specials
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Create daily specials using seasonally relevant and fresh ingredients that will need to be ordered or acquired
  • Helping inspire management with supplemental season menus
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Keep current on beer knowledge and tap list
  • Run A/V equipment to maintain proper sound level and sports on TVs and Music
  • Oversee staff, and make sure guests are experiencing the best of us.

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Computer literacy
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Possess strong leadership skills
