We are in search of a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations in the non-profit sector. The role is 100% REMOTE and will manage all aspects of financial management, including daily bookkeeping, maintaining financial records, and providing management reporting tools.
Given this position is 100% REMOTE, central Arkansas candidates are preferred, but the position is open to anyone within the United States.
The salary range will be $65,000 - $75,000 DOE with the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all financial operations for the non-profit organization.
• Conduct daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and Salesforce.
• Maintain the financial records for monthly filings, grant reporting, annual audit requirements, and tax filings.
• Provide management reporting tools to the management team.
• Lead a consistent, professional effort in recording all financial transactions and the reporting associated with the budget and actual expenses as necessary on a monthly and annual basis.
• Manage bank accounts, receipts and disbursements in the US, including A/P, A/R, and reconciliation of the general ledger.
• Prepare financial reports for board meetings three times each year.
• Attend regular meetings with team(s).
• Oversee and support the work of the finance team, which includes one Finance Associate and one Staff Accountant.
• Use Leadership Skills to manage the finance team and ensure smooth operation.
• Utilize Fund Accounting skills specific to Non-Profit organizations to maintain and manage the organization's finances.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with non-profit experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in Fund Accounting for non-profit organizations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Bachelor's in accounting is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
• Fluency in financial management systems and advanced proficiency in accounting software.
• Demonstrated understanding of the non-profit industry and its financial intricacies.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
