Job Summary:
As our Walsworth - Marceline Human Resources Business Partner, you will use Human Resources knowledge, skills and business acumen to lead recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and other HR-related functions at our Walsworth - Marceline facilities.
This salaried, exempt position is an office-based role with a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. The Executive Vice President of Human Resources oversees the Marceline HRBP and our Corporate Human Resources team supports the Marceline HRBP within the safety, training and benefits functions.
Essential Functions:
- Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding for new employees.
- Recruitment: Screen candidates and assist in the interviewing process to ensure new hires align with leaderships goals.
- Training: Lead plant tours and employee orientations.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the day-to-day contact for employee relations questions and support.
- Communication: Work with leadership to determine their current human resource and recruitment needs.
- Community Outreach: Represent Walsworth at job fairs and school events.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Communication: Be a liason between employees and leadership.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrate good judgement and confidentiality.
- Technology: Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Teams Outlook and Windows based databases.
- Taking initiative: Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with limited supervision.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources a related field and four years experience in Human Resources responsibilities OR Associate degree in Human Resources a related field and six years experience in Human Resources
- SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred, but not required
- Experience in a print, production or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required
- Prior usage of Paycom or similar human resource information systems (HRIS) software is preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- U.S. work authorization is required (Walsworth does not provide employment sponsorship)
