We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller to join our team. This is a permanent position in our Engineering division. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and playing a critical role in our strategic decision-making process. This position requires a high level of financial expertise, superb analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.

- Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations to management.
- Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor.
- Monitor and analyze inventory and direct labor cost.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics that support the company's strategic direction.
- Work closely with plant management and corporate finance team to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Participate in the development of the plant's long-term strategy and business plan.
- Drive continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proven experience in financial forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience creating and managing budgets.
- Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work product.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
