The 2024 Nevada Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Videographer who will lead content creation efforts. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the coordinated campaign working to elect President Biden, Vice President Harris, Sen. Jacky Rosen, and Democrats down the ticket.

This role will be based in Las Vegas and will require in person work.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and highly motivated individual to help lead us to victory in 2024 as our ideal videographer. The videographer is responsible for planning, filming, and editing videos that could be used for a variety of projects such as organic, paid social ads, advertisements, or website assets. As the videographer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the visual consistency and quality of our brand’s video content across all channels. You must be creative, passionate about creating stories or messages through film and video (along with editing film and video), and have an eye for detail. The ideal candidate must also have good communication skills and the ability to provide video direction.

Tasks & responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Responsible for supporting the in-state digital team that will develop content strategy, influencer engagement, and volunteer recruitment and coordinate with the Digital Director
• Create Nevada-specific content based on campaign message goals for grassroots distribution to reach targeted voters
• Work under tight deadlines to create original, shareable videos for social platforms
• Come up with high-potential concepts for new videos
• Help manage video shoots as they come up
• Guide videos through the internal approvals process
• Analyze video performance and use data to ensure that videos are reaching targeted audiences.

Preferred background & experience:

• Experience working with a variety of different cameras
• Knowledge of lighting design
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team or crew
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of what works on various social platforms
• Experience filming at events is a plus.

Salary: $6,000 per month
