The 2024 Nevada Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Deputy Content Director who will help lead and support the in-state digital team to reach voters in innovative and creative ways. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the coordinated campaign working to elect President Biden, Vice President Harris, Sen. Jacky Rosen, and Democrats down the ticket.

This role will be based in Las Vegas and will require in-person work.

Role Overview:

Overview: We are looking for a talented, passionate, and highly motivated individual to help lead us to victory in 2024 as Nevada Deputy Content Director. This role will be based in Las Vegas and will be responsible for leading the in-state digital content development team to reach voters in innovative and creative ways. We are seeking folks from a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences, and we are dedicated to building a team that authentically reflects local voters.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the in-state digital content team that will develop content strategy, influencer engagement, and volunteer recruitment in coordination with the Digital Director
• Create Nevada-specific content based on campaign message goals for grassroots distribution to reach targeted voters
• Study and optimize the intersection of digital and organizing
• Oversee the content vertical that falls under the umbrella of digital, including by supervising a digital content associate
• Lead the creation of social media content for in-state campaign social media accounts, as well as producing content for allies and supporters to share from their accounts
• Manage social media accounts on a day-to-day basis and identify opportunities for engagement
• Oversee production of high-quality video or photography from our campaign events across Nevada
• Execute a thoughtful content strategy across all platforms that aligns with the campaign’s core strategic imperatives
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience creating digital content for political campaigns, government offices, or related entities
• Ability to navigate the demands of hectic campaign events to capture high-quality content and produce social content that adheres to the campaign’s message
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities (with an emphasis on attention to detail)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with Mobilize America, Reach a plus

Preferred background & experience: $6,500
