Overview:

The Nevada Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Deputy Operations Director – in the Northern Nevada Region to support our ongoing mission of empowering Democrats up and down the ballot in the state. We are looking for individuals with a variety of backgrounds and experience and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America. The Deputy Operations Director – North Region will coordinate across multiple departments to create and maintain operational processes and ensure that the campaign is an essential contributor to state infrastructure on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, promote, and oversee agile DNC operations-related campaign systems and training.
• Collaborate on projects with the Operations, Political, Organizing, Accounting, and other teams.
• Manage day-to-day building operations of the Northern Nevada Field Offices.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain office(s) Infrastructure.
• Work closely with the Nevada State HQ Operations team to ensure state infrastructure is operating effectively.
• Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC’s mission

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• You have at least one cycle of general campaign experience and at least one cycle of campaign operations experience with previous statewide operations experience (strongly preferred)
• You have at least 3 years of work experience
• You have strong people management abilities, prior staff management experience preferred.
• You have strong organizational skills, communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work.
• No task is too small, you are a team player willing to roll up your sleeves!
• You have prior budgetary experience (preferred)
• You have prior experience with technology and cybersecurity (preferred)
• You are committed to electing Democrats up and down the ballot.

Travel required: Low, 10%. Some in-state travel may be required.

Salary: The starting salary for this position is $84,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position that may require work on weekends. This is an exempt position.
