The Assistant Video Editor will be responsible for helping the team in managing a wide range of content for various areas of the brand such as long-form marketing (VSLs), organic social, and short form educational videos including workout series, nutrition videos, podcasts, and motivational material. In order to be successful in this role, you must have an elite eye for detail, organization, and an understanding of media and the various formats.

Responsibilities

• Manage all media, file organization, and overall structure of our internal server such as re-naming and storing media after a production.
• Create new Premiere Pro projects for editors to begin their work.
• Assist with exporting videos, making quick alterations, and delivering new assistance to various teams and departments. When time allows, edit various projects and videos.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Motion Graphic Designer for key assets to use within their edit.
• Work with an Audio Engineer to craft music and sound design for editing deliverables.
• Deliver on creative set forth by the business, and the Creative Director.
• May perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of media management experience.
• 2-5 years of video editing experience.
• 2-5 years of experience working with a Post-Production Team.
• 3-5 years of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient with a MAC OS ecosystem.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• An understanding of overall Post-Production workflows and servers, including network based-editing, cloud editing, and remote workflows.
• Ability to work under accelerated deadlines, quick to pivot and adjust to meet timelines, problem solve, and maneuver the challenges of a Post-Production process.
• A process-forward, detail oriented individual with precise understanding of media and media formats.
• Advanced communication skills in order to provide clear direction, while ensuring tasks, notes, and deadlines are understood as well as respected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
