Paradisaea Restaurant is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our opening team! We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE: To be a part of the Paradisaea team in all facets related to but not limited to cleaning, sanitizing, and organization of the kitchen and back of house spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas (kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and all back of house space)
• Safely uses all kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals; Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by California Health Department requirements
• Maintain a positive work environment and effectively handle issues as they arise
• Ensure company procedures and standards are met at all times
• Maintain professional relationships with the entire team
• Willingness to pitch in and help prep or do other tasks in your down time
• Communicates effectively with chef de cuisine, sous chefs, and co-workers
• Utilizes proper food handling techniques following health and safety standards
• Breakdown work-station and complete closing duties
• Additional duties as necessary and assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Certifications in San Diego County Food Protection License
• Restaurant experience: 2 year (Preferred)
• US work authorization

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
