Job Title: Cafe Team Member (Front & Back of House)

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service Excellence:

- Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and information when needed.

- Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

2. Food Preparation and Presentation:

- Prepare and assemble a variety of food and beverage items, following recipes and quality standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.

- Present food items in an appealing manner, contributing to the overall aesthetic of the cafe.

3. Team Collaboration:

- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.

- Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate order fulfillment.

- Support team goals and contribute to a positive team spirit.

4. Cash Handling:

- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide customers with correct change.

- Operate the cash register efficiently, ensuring accountability for all transactions.

5. Upkeep of Cafe Environment:

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the dining and service areas.

- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred, but not required.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards customer service.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to the cafe's menu and procedures.
