Location: Onalaska, WI
Compensation Structure: Base salary Quarterly Profit Sharing
Total Compensation: $56,000 - $76,500 annually

Purpose & Summary: Dynamic is committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and accuracy. As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various general accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the Vice President, Finance and Accounting Supervisor in both daily tasks and special projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to contribute significantly to the financial operations of a multi-divisional company.
Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and posting of journal entries.
  • Maintenance of schedules and/or reconciliations supporting multi-company balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Assisting with multiple company month-end closings and account analysis.
  • General Ledger maintenance in a multi-company/division environment, including year-end and monthly closings.
  • Preparation of monthly system-generated financial statements and other internal financial reports.
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly sales tax returns.
  • Assistance in preparing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and the annual audit process.
  • Implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Accounting functions for Dynamic Property Management.
  • Collaboration with assigned business units during the annual budget process.
  • Assistance in cash flow management, forecasting, and other tasks assigned by the Vice President, Finance.

Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a minimum of three years of prior accounting experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in public accounting and assurance work.

Successful Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GAAP, local, state, and federal tax laws, and integrated accounting systems. They should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to maintain confidentiality, work collaboratively with various teams, and travel out of town is essential.
