Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be challenged to develop great design for complex multi-faceted projects. Bring your great project skills to support important national defense missions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Developing and modifying design for mechanical service equipment including HVAC, pumps, piping, plumbing, and material handling systems
- Coordinate with other disciplines to solve issues and support field activities.
- Vendor interface and coordination and submittal reviews/approvals.
- Support client staff.
- Construction activities support.
- 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and at least years of related work experience.
- 5 years experience with utility systems: steam, chilled water, sanitary, plumbing, fluid and heat transfer systems.
- 5 years commercial/industrial HVAC systems design
- Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is highly desirable.
- Professional Engineer registration may be required.
- REVIT and 3D modeling experience a plus.
- Specialty engineering software experience a plus.
- Field/construction engineering experience a plus.

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
