* Provide quality design and support for utilities systems (compressed air, chilled water, steam, hot oil, process, and other mechanical) at Eastman sites
* Lead engineering studies and perform calculations/evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for mechanical utilities at manufacturing sites
* Develop mechanical designs and specifications that form the basis for placing purchase order for equipment and contracts for installation of the equipment and systems
* Recommend operating and maintenance practices for mechanical equipment
* Participate in commissioning of new and modified systems
* Perform fluid flow modeling and troubleshooting
* Develop and maintain utilities distribution models
* Manage projects effectively and efficiently
* Participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned capital projects
* Provide consultation and guidance related to utilities, for operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel at Eastman sites
* Mentor and provide guidance for less experienced engineers
* Provide leadership and contribute to applicable engineering standards
* BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
* Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred
* 5 years relevant professional experience in Mechanical Engineering preferred
* Familiar with relevant regulations, standards, and codes such as ASME, API, NFPA, ANSI, etc
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Travel
* Some periodic travel (domestic & international) may be required
