LaSalle Network has partnered with an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in the Philadelphia metro area. They are immediately seeking a Logistics Manager to work in the company headquarters. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for developing, executing and administering the department's transportation strategies and activities. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days working from home each week.

Logistics Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs and meet customer demands
• Plan, organize and supervise transportation activities, including scheduling, routing and dispatching of trucks, railcars and other modes of transportation
• Develop and Track Transportation KPIs. Own carrier KPIs, develop strategies for service improvements and processes for non-performing carriers
• Maintain carrier and driver service, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Partner with Inventory team to maximize truck utilization and balance costs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements governing the transportation of hazardous materials, including DOT, EPA and OSHA regulations
• Monitor transportation performance metrics, analyze data and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality

Logistics Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or operations preferred
• 5 years proven experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role
• Experience with KPI's and structured reporting
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
