Lasko Products, Inc is Hiring a Logistics Coordinator Near West Chester, PA
Lasko Products, an industry leader in designing and manufacturing portable fans and heaters for over 100 years, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to our West Chester, PA corporate headquarters.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for daily management of a portfolio of customers including but not limited to shipments and communication with other departments to ensure proper flow of all customer orders. This position specifically manages Walgreens, Walmart Mexico and Sam’s Club Mexico accounts along with customer compliance scorecards from various accounts.
Your Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the shipment coordination of big-box customers (Walmart Mexico and Sam’s Club Mexico) along with additional prepaid shipment accounts (Walgreens, True Value, etc.)
- Work in partnership with sales and international logistics teams to organize cross-border pickups and deliveries related to raw materials and finished goods.
- Serve as a key member of the multidepartment customer compliance team, focused on shipping process improvements and reduction of compliance-related chargebacks and deductions.
- Research and dispute transportation and shipping related compliance scorecards.
- Collaborate with product development and sales departments to create truck loading diagrams.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication between internal and external partners ensuring smooth coordination and timely resolution of issues.
Competencies and Abilities:
- Knowledge of cross-border and international transportation (including but not limited to customs/broker documents, FTZ, and tariffs)
- Knowledge of basic transportation operations (LTL, truckload, NMFC class, etc.)
- Familiar with transportation management systems and ERPs
- Experience with Cape Pack software
- Detail oriented and should demonstrate an ability to exert a systems-thinking approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn.
- Light travel (5-10%) may be required.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with "Big Box" retailers
- Microsoft Office Suite
