Tex Tech Industries is Hiring a Sales Account Manager Near Kernersville, NC

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our Tex-Tech Coatings team in Kernersville, North Carolina! This position reports to the VP of Sales and is a salary exempt position with a base salary of $70-80,000 depending on experience. Tex-Tech Coatings is a premier designer and manufacturer of specialty textiles and fabrics for a wide range of industries and niche applications. We are dedicated to providing superior-quality materials for OEMs and end-users.

The Account Manager plans, organizes, and controls an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
  • Manages day-to-day progress of the product line. 
  • Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, manufacturing, and operations for all aspects of the product line to meet customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for product.
  • Coordinates and develops marketing, sales, and financial plans for product line. Provides financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.
  • Conducts market research and identifies and tracks market trends in company's industry. Produces competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
  • Identifies partnering opportunities for complementary third-party products to broaden company's product line.
  • Maintains communications and contacts to collect and analyze technical, financial, schedule, and sales information for product line.
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers, trade shows, suppliers, etc. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; with three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
