DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Kent, Washington. This role will be instrumental in supporting the CFO and will be responsible for managing a team within our organization. The Controller will have a significant role in enhancing our financial and accounting operations within the industry. Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to the CFO for all financial and accounting activities
- Managing a dynamic team and facilitating their growth within the organization
- Utilizing accounting software systems for efficient financial operations
- Overseeing accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Conducting audits and managing general ledger activities
- Participating in budget processes and ensuring financial compliance
- Preparing financial statements and conducting financial statement audits
- Implementing and managing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP solutions
- Handling ADP - Financial Services and DCAA procedures
- Leveraging expertise in financial statement preparation for accurate reporting.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Knowledge of DCAA compliance and regulations
- Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Ability to implement and manage ERP Solutions
- Proven experience in managing Accounting Functions
- Track record in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficient in Auditing practices and principles
- Experience in managing Budget Processes
- Knowledge of General Ledger accounting procedures
- Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements
- Experience in conducting Financial Statement Audits
- Proven skills in Financial Statement Preparation.
